The structure of a useful trading prompt
A prompt defines a task, not a guarantee. It includes goal, data, scope, format and quality monitoring. "Analyzes this asset" leave open the source, date, instrument and what you hope to get. "Calculates the net result of this case using these quantity and costs" offers an output that you can review.
Add product type. The asset name does not explain if you have cash units or contracts with a multiplier. It also indicates currency and period. If a tool doesn't have access to your source, stick the table or extract instead of expecting you to know its values.
3 different tasks, 3 deliverables
1. To prepare data
That's what I'm talking about. That's what I mean. That page doesn't check a model automatically.
2. Check a calculation
That's what I'm talking about. That's what I mean. That page doesn't check a model automatically.
3. To review what's missing
That's what I'm talking about. That's what I mean. That page doesn't check a model automatically.
What results should you check?
In the second prompt, an exit at 99.70 € produces −20 € gross and −25 € net. At 99.60 €, the results are −24 € gross and −29 € net. If the response subtracts the cost twice or adds it to a loss, correct it by showing the calculation: (exit − entry) × units − cost.
The first prompt should have missing data. It would be wrong to turn "I have no spread" into "spread zero." In the third, the word breakup may require an additional definition and information. A useful response can conclude that the case cannot be evaluated with available evidence.
How to demand a review without losing the context
Copy the line or sentence that you want to correct. It explains the monitoring data and asks to recalculate the parties concerned. "Enhance your response" is less concrete that "You have treated 5 €of total cost as 5 €per side and fixes the result while keeping the other assumptions."
Keep the initial request and the corrected response. If you change quantity, cost and exit simultaneously, you cannot attribute the change in the result to a single variable. To compare two scenarios, change one assumption at a time or explicitly list the changes.
Retirement: The AI calculates − €15 net from − €20 gross and €5 costs. What would you ask him?
That subtract the cost to gross result: − 20 − 5 = − 25 €. Requests to display the formula and check other rows using the same sign.
To adapt the prompt to actions, crypto, forex and contracts
The structure is reusable and economic fields aren't always. For a linear contract, it contributes the money value of the movement and the number of contracts. For a couple of currencies, indicates in what currency the result is expressed and if there's conversion. For any product, declare financing and other costs if applicable.
The examples of this page are from a linear fictitious asset by units. Don't copy them as specifications of an actual contract. The course of prompts expands practice with sources, scenarios and response audit.

The examples are computed with fictitious data. The sources do not support a sign or a performance result of these exercises.
